You're tired, you're weak, you're dam near exhausted, work all day and probably all night too, no time for anyone or anything, all this just to survive, just to make it and barely at that, you strive and you take it, you keep being your best self, you want to quit but you don't, you have this drive, this will, this faith, this strength and courage, God is what pushes you forward, hope itself, something keeps telling you "don't give up" - keep going, don't stop, don't give in,... there will be NO surrender, not tonight or ever, just one more step, just one more day, just one more round and by the grace of all that is holy you make through, you continue, you succeed in your own way, you overcome your own trials, you excel at your best self and everyday it becomes worth it, worth all the blood sweat and tears and you know in your heart you were made for this, you know things will change, you know deep down that when you have the faith to live fearlessly you transform every experience into an opportunity- giving up is no longer an option. ~Will "Story" Rivera
She said she talks to God daily, I wondered what she meant, she said she writes to him as often as she thinks, prayers are sacred quiet moments, she spends lots of time in silence so she can hear the divine responses, whispers of wisdom and clarity, lots of thoughtful conversation, I was lost in admiration, inspired by her faith, I wanted to connect as deeply as she did, I wanted nothing more than to feel the divine flow through me all day in ways that only I could experience, she helped me to reach that place, she reignited that relationship, kept me focused which allowed me to remember who's child I really was and just how much I was loved. ~Will "Story" Rivera
Breathing in air and I am grateful, each step I take I thank God for these two legs and arms that help me to get from place to place, I am grateful to even be alive, to have been given another day, to be able to even write and collect my thoughts and share them, they say surround yourself with positive people but I think it's grateful souls we should be seeking, grateful souls see the good in everything, they live in the here and now and always find something to praise God for - no matter how Grimm the surroundings, being aware of just how much we are blessed disconnects the energetic chord between the ego and ourselves and allows us to appreciate life as it is and not attach some expectation of how we think it should be, it allows us to see the good in everyone and shine our lights day and night, gratitude cultivates the richest faith, grateful people will take the most overlooked spec of dust on the ground and say THANK YOU because they recognize just how important everyone and everything's role is on earth, never allow your soul to be drained by those who are perpetually dissatisfied, they are not bad people, they just have not accepted that they too are worthy of happiness, the ego keeps them locked tight in a vicious cycle of "I never have enough" - their ego ensures that they never see the good in anything no matter how many blessings God delivers, no matter the circumstance they always find another reason why they can't enjoy their life - so stay blessed, stay grateful, even if you have nothing at all except your bones and your body, take a moment to say thank you for being alive here in this moment - there are many who didn't make it today. ~Will "Story" Rivera
 At some point or another we all have felt pain and sorrow, we all know what loss feels like, we know how it feels to think all hope is lost and there are no sunrises left to ever willingly appreciate, we know what it feels like to think that good no longer exists, we know what it feels like to have someone close pass away and most of us all know how sometimes we forget just how lucky we truly are, so I ask for your prayers tonight, I ask for your prayers tonight for all those whom suffer needlessly, right now there are those whom sleep without shelter this evening, their are souls who go to bed hungry and their only priority is surviving the night, pray for the individuals who are ill, pray and send love to the souls who's judgment is clouded and hearts are filled with pain, pray that they heal and find the peace and strength to continue on their journey, right now there are those who are lonely and feel the world has abandoned them, may their hearts be touched somehow by our love and our kindness, there are those who are dying and those who cling to life, may we pray for those who have no clue what a peaceful day is like, may we remember all those who have fallen victim to crimes and those who are at war, may we pray for all the lives that are no longer with us, say a prayer to all the families who are tirelessly working just to survive, to the people who are desperately crying even as you read this, to the animals and to earth may they know of our compassion, may we remember the children and the innocence this world sometimes robs them of, may we keep in our prayers all those who are lost in their own darkness, to the teenagers and free spirits who are punished for following their dreams, please stop and take a moment to send your blessings to the world, whether it's you who are in need or if you choose to pray for someone else, let us pray together in unison even if our egos try to convince us that they are undeserving. ~Will "Story" Rivera
