The dark are in need of light, meet greed with generosity, hate with love, indifference with understanding, meet the angry with compassion and happiness, meet ignorance with an open mind, pour your light over every inch of this universe and be unmoved by the actions and choices of others, do not allow the exterior to change the interior of who you truly are, every selfish act, every broken heart, all the thievery and cheating, every time you want to lash out and retaliate in anger -greet this life with nothing less than unconditional love - be the fire, be the flame, leaders breed leaders, inspire change through positively modeling your thoughts, speech and behavior. ~Will "Story" Rivera

Love is my home. 

I've searched houses and work places, families and churches, faiths of all cultures, read books, practices and scriptures, I've gone through street after street and town after city searching for belonging, searching for safety,  warmth and maybe a side of familiarity, comfort, hoping and praying I would find some kind a place to call home. I've been in arms and in beds, houses to apartments from beaches to hiking trails and still I found myself isolated and feeling indifferent, calling out and yearning for a taste of something I know to exist - glimpses and memories- my child in my arms, a genuine hug, an act of selflessness, the way that she holds me, different experiences but the same conclusion - love is my only home. ~Will "Story" Rivera 

Every day do what you can to be helpful. Your stuck, sick, aggravated, short on rent, angry, pissed, upset, - do what you can to be helpful. When your busy, work too many hours, schedule is booked - do what you can to be helpful. In your deepest moments of fear, loss, pain, hurt, confusion, darkness - do what you can to be helpful. When your stuck, homeless, without family or friends, no support or direction -do what you can to be helpful. Through every struggle and defeat, through every battle and conflict - do what you can to be helpful. So many roam day in and day out unaware of just how powerful they are, how important their souls purpose here is, so many oblivious to just how deeply their actions affect others, led by pure ego and not driven by love. 

Simple life changing rules to follow - if for every moment that we were quick to anger, we decided to choose to be helpful instead of hurtful - our world would change overnight. Ask yourself this- who have you stopped to helped today?  ~Will "Story" Rivera
