I made a significant decision when I was young that I have never regretted. I decided that I did not have to live my life like everyone else and my life and my decisions would always remain my own. I would pursue things of lasting value rather than the newest norms society tries to sell us, I would always follow my heart no matter how great the sacrifice or consequence, I would live a life that matters, a life that contributes to the success of others, a life that inspires and doesn't hurt. I chose to mediate in times when others wanted me to fight, to walk away and to say no even when my pride and ego spoke of other ways to respond, I would humble myself and be selfless - I chose to lead a life where the success of all beings is as important to me as the air in which I breathe - this is my life and I choose to make it matter. ~Will "Story" Rivera
Everyday for the next year I will be posting a new Inspirational Rule to consider living by. I hope you enjoy. Rule #135 2/28/16 Confidence is the ability to act from your inner authority. Most of us get easily swayed by others’ opinions, expectations and what we are “supposed to” do, say and feel. Confident people don’t. Confident people make decisions from their inner authority, regardless of the outcome or consequences. This doesn’t mean they are immoral or unethical — it’s actually far from it.
Confident people have a respect for others, including themselves. They show it by taking action from their true instincts, not from expectations. If they do go with the grain, they check in with their inner authority first. Everyday for the next year I will be posting a new Inspirational Rule to consider living by. I hope you enjoy. Rule #134 2/27/16 Identify your values and allow them to guide your life. Grab a piece of paper and pencil. Across the top write, “What I most want to accomplish in life.” Begin making a list. Post that list some where that you will notice it every single morning. Allow it to shape your life. Base your decisions about time, energy, and money on those values. Allow them to guide your life even when they take you down a narrower road than everyone else.

What you give to this world is unique but what you do to commit to the success of others is something that cannot be measured. Be the kind of person that always does their best to add faith, encouragement and unconditional love everywhere they go. ~Will "Story" Rivera
Everyday for the next year I will be posting a new Inspirational Rule to consider living by. I hope you enjoy. Rule #132 2/25/16 Fall In Love Often. We must be completely in love with who we are, before anyone of us can appreciate unconditional love from others. The deeper our love grows for ourselves the more the universal energy that surrounds us will affirm it true, bring more beauty to our eyes, we are each uniquely gifted in profound ways. It’s not only a privilege but an adventure in itself to discover our worth. Once we truly learn to see and feel just how special were are, once we learn to love ourselves on the deepest levels, then and only then can we begin a lifelong love affair with our self that gives birth to the richest fulfillment from inside and out. Fall in love with who you are often. ~Will "Story" Rivera
